Involving religious communities in Ukraine in the response to HIV / AIDS epidemic

Project aim: reducing stigma and discrimination against HIV-positive people and improving the quality of life of PLWH through involvement and support of religious communities in Ukraine. The project was implemented in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Charitable Fund "Faith. Hope. Love."

Donor: Norwegian Church Aid (NCA).

Implementation term: 2009
Main achievements:
• A joint conference "Positive Faith - Partnership Development" was prepared and conducted in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.
• Categorical assistance was provided to HIV-positive children treated at the Ukrainian Children's Specialized Hospital "OKHMATDYT".
