Current projectsCivil Society Role Enhancement: From Paternalism to Active ParticipationProject purpose: Social rights consolidation of the vulnerable population groups by means of advocacy activities; community mobilization and involvement of the groups’ participants to the decision making process on all the levels. Donor: European Commission Project duration: 24 months Commencement date: 27 July 2011 Project geography: the whole Ukraine Project components: • Creation of favourable conditions for the changes in the health care system, facilitation of the national response to HIV/AIDS epidemic by means of involvement of vulnerable groups’ representatives to the decision making process on the national and local levels; creation of the cooperation platform for the NGOs working in this area and ensuring participation of the private sector in the civil society development. • Advocacy activities aimed at ensuring transparency and accurate reporting in the procurement process • Expansion of the information flow regarding the rights protection of vulnerable groups • Reinforcement of vulnerable groups mobilization by means of special training sessions, consultations and information provision in order to activate their involvement in the decision making process on the national and local levels Total project budget: €193 350 European Commission’s Contribution: €130 472 PLWH Network’s Contribution: €62 878
